Knee length is appropriate for all ages: a fun informal length. Tea length falls half way between the knee and ankle: The classic length. Ankle length is appropriate for 2 years and older: This formal length falls around the ankle. Floor length is appropriate for girls 10 years and older: Floor length should finish 3/4"-1" off of the floor while wearing shoes.
